THEME

Star Wars MUSH places great importance on it's theme and the civil interaction of its playerbase. Because of this, not all forms of roleplay are acceptable. This isn't to say that everyone must roleplay out of the same cookie-cutter mold, but we do ask that players respect our theme, and other players, and help us maintain our Star Wars-based IC environment. We go to great lengths to keep our depiction of the Star Wars universe consistent, but we also allow some original material from players into our world to keep things fresh.

In order to prevent things which have no place in the Star Wars setting, such as material borrowed from other sci-fi, fantasy, anime, cyberpunk, etc., we must reserve the right to screen original factions/races/technology. This also includes giving your character a name that is appropriate to the Star Wars Universe.

Currently, the following soruces are considered canon to Star Wars MUSH:

• The Star Wars movie trilogy from George Lucas (obviously!)
• The Heir to the Empire trilogy of books from Timothy Zahn
• The Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebooks from West End Games which take place at or before our point in the timeline.

However, we will be selective in what we include from these sources. Just because they publish it does not mean that we will use it on the MUSH.
